Terms of use

Last updated 24 October 2026.

These terms are between you and YOUR LEGAL NAME trading as FreightFit (FreightFit, “we”). You can reach us at support@freightfit.au. By using FreightFit you agree to these terms. If you use it for a business, you agree to them for that business too.

1. What FreightFit is

FreightFit is a planning tool. It suggests how cargo could be placed on a vehicle or pallet, and estimates pallet spaces, weights, straps and tail-lift handling. It works from the sizes and weights you enter and the assumptions shown in the planner.

You remain responsible for every load. The driver, loader and operator must check that a load is safe, within the vehicle's limits and restrained in line with the Heavy Vehicle National Law and the Load Restraint Guide before it moves. Our results are estimates and may be wrong, for example if the information entered is wrong or a vehicle differs from the one in the planner.

2. Accounts

  • An account is for one person. Keep your sign-in codes to yourself.
  • On a Team plan, the person who pays decides who is in the team and can remove people at any time.
  • Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.

3. Plans, the free trial and payment

  • The free plan has the limits shown on the pricing page.
  • New accounts get Pro free for 14 days without a card. When the trial ends, the account moves to the free plan unless you choose a paid plan.
  • Paid plans are charged in advance, monthly or yearly, by card through Stripe, and renew automatically until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time from your account. You keep the plan until the end of the period you've paid for. Changes between plans are charged or credited for the days left.
  • Prices are in Australian dollars. No GST is charged while the business is not registered for GST.
  • We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change applies to you.
  • Payments are not refunded for part periods, except where the law requires it or we agree to.

4. Your loads and documents

The loads, cargo lists and documents you put into FreightFit are yours. You let us store and process them only to run the service for you.

5. Fair use

Don't misuse FreightFit: no attempts to break or get around its security or plan limits, no automated scraping or bulk use beyond normal planning, no reselling access, and nothing unlawful. We may suspend an account that does these things, and will tell you why.

6. Changes and availability

We work to keep FreightFit running and accurate, but it may sometimes be unavailable, and features may change. If we make a change that takes away something significant you've paid for, you can cancel and we'll refund the unused part of your current period.

7. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

8. Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows, and apart from those guarantees:

  • FreightFit is provided as it is, and we don't promise that its results suit any particular load;
  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from loading, transport, fines, damage or injury that relied on the planner's results;
  • where our liability for a failure to meet a guarantee can be limited, it is limited to supplying the service again or refunding what you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Ending

You can stop using FreightFit and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. If we stop offering FreightFit, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice, refund any unused prepaid period and give you a way to download your saved loads.

10. General

These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia. We may update them; if a change matters, we'll email account holders before it takes effect. The latest version is always on this page.
